The lighting kit is a great addition to go with the Madrid ceiling light shade. A bit fidgety to put it up but well pleased with it. Delivery a bit slow but came eventually.

Initially I purchased one of these lighting cable kits in antique brass with some curiosity. It clearly states that the cable is 1000mm in length and can be shortened by the layman to 500mm. Unfortunately, my ceilings are not high. I live in a 1960’s bungalow. So I contacted a qualified electrician who reduced the overall drop to 300mm and was thrilled with the result! The quality is excellent and it finishes my room off, complimenting my antique brass switches and sockets. I’ve since bought four more. Really pleased!

Whilst the light fitting is lovely I have struggled to get any lampshades to fit as the diameter of the fitting is too wide. I know M&S say it fits their shades but there was nothing to my taste in the selection. I now have to pay an electrician again to take down which is disappointing .
